Hello everybody! I'm glad to announce that i've arrived in Lincoln, England! ^^ But as I said before, I'll still be able to come on this forum almost everyday.

And since i'm with my British friends, I decided to open this exclusively English thread. "Why?", you ask. Well, I'll say... "Why not?" (In fact, they're behind me right now and are just curious about our forum. Oh! and they're saying hello to you all.)

So, I'll say it once and for all:

It's quite snowy here as well and very cold, 32°F, too cold for me (why can't there be snow without coldness?). Right now i'm sitting in a comfy armchair, near the fireplace and i'm not going anywhere... well... until dinner.

I'm mainly here for work but it won't take more than five days so... yeah i'm here for fun. It's just me, two of my classmates and our hosts of course.^^

Oh yes, this isn't the first time i go abroad. I went to Vancouver two years ago and a trip to Thailand is scheduled for next summer.

Lincoln is in the North-East of England, North of Cambridge.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I do love snow, but I wish it weren't that cold.

You've never been abroad? Well then, since you're a college student (or whatever post-high-school studies you're doing), you should be able to afford at least a trip to a nearby European Country. It's not expensive at all.

Don't worry Amu-chan, just keep practicing/reading/writing/speaking and your English should improve fast. And wanting to improve your English is a good reason to go on a one-month-or-more trip to England.

Well, after this similary long monologue, I'll return to my... er... Oh! That's right! Work starts only tomorrow. Ganbate ne, Amu-chan! ^^

Who said anything about Japanese being forbidden here? We're on a forum about Shugo Chara which is a manga made by Japanese mangakas (that was quite a pleonasm) and set in Japan. Of course Japanese is allowed.

Okay, today is our last day in England. We'll be back in France tomorrow.

But before that, since it's Valentine's Day, I'll spend some quality time with a certain beautiful lady who's right behind me while i'm writing this. I know this restaurant in Bloomsbury, London which should be to her liking.

Oh and the guy who came with us (no pun intended) on this trip has a date with one of our hosts. I think they're a good match.

Well... Valentine's Day is like any other day. I don't like or hate it, i had planned to go on a date on the last day of our trip anyway, Valentine or not. People often think "It's Valentine's Day so we'll go on a date". I prefer to think "Let's go on a date. Oh, what a coincidence, it's on Valentine's Day! Then let's call it a Valentine's Date!".

Yeah, we'll keep on speaking English and keep this thread alive.

I'm back in France and at home. And I must admit that the best moment of a trip, for me, is when I'm finally back at home and in my own bed, my very own comfy bed.

I started watching season 6 of NCIS - always in English, French subtitles - and since then I have an irresistible urge to speak English! xD Go figure why ...
I can't wait for this season coming in France! >< Don't care episodes that tokens is too tripant!

Oh yeah, a wonderful trip, I totally forgot that I was there for work. (Thank God, we haven't forgotten to do the work or we would've been in trouble.)

The weather was... cold! Too cold!! I think that armchair near the fireplace knows my butt very, very well now. Apart from that, we had two snowy days, we had rain, we had big wind, we had some sun (not enough in my opinion)... Well, actually not much different from France, I guess.

And we had parties and dinners and more parties. Luckily, not much alcohol (or is it unluckily? XD ), mostly wine.
